Dwight Drew joined Brooks Ransom in 1991, after 14 years of experience in structural engineering. He came to Brooks Ransom with previous experience as a Principal of another firm. Dwight's career portfolio includes a large variety of projects and building systems. A sampling of his areas of technical expertise includes steel rigid frame design, steel braced frames, steel eccentric braced frames, cast-in-place concrete, and tilt-up concrete design. Dwight has extensive experience with OSHPD and DSA, along with a thorough working knowledge of the California Building Codes. He effectively manages the OSHPD and DSA construction processes including revisions, approvals, and interaction with field inspectors. As Vice President of Medical & Institutional Projects, Dwight's current primary focus is on Medical construction. Recent projects include new medical facilities, remodels and expansions of existing facilities, and the critical analysis of existing facilities for medical equipment change-outs and emergency power equipment. Dwight is additionally responsible for the management of the office information systems and the hiring of new employees.
